2. General notes
We process personal data only where a legal basis under Art. 6 GDPR permits it. This site is hosted in the European Union. Data transmission on the internet can have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
3. Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the request and the shortened IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website. Log data is deleted after 14 days at the latest.
4. Contact form and telephone
If you send us an enquiry via the form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provide there are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to the initiation of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time with future effect. We delete enquiry data no later than 24 months after the last contact, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website uses one technical entry in your browser's local storage to remember your decision about the cookie notice. It contains no identifier, is not read by any third party and is not used for analysis. No tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling cookies are set. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, since the entry is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested.
6. Map
The map in the contact section is not loaded until you actively press the button. Only then is a connection to the servers of OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom established, and only then is your IP address transmitted there. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Until you press the button, no third-party request is made from this page.
7. Downloads
The checklists offered on this site are delivered from our own hosting. Downloading them requires no registration, no email address and no consent, and we do not log who downloads what.
8. Fonts
The typefaces used on this site are delivered from our own server as part of the page build. No connection to Google servers is established when you visit this site.
9. Recipients and processors
Hosting and delivery of this website: Vercel Inc., with data processing for European visitors in the EU region, on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. Email is operated by a German provider. We do not pass your data to anyone else, and we never sell it.
10. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz.
